What I liked
The green and red flags were such a fun addition! I also liked the diversity of stories and lessons, and especially how they connected to the author’s lived experiences. It was fun to see how lessons from these books snowball into adulthood.

My overall impression
A charming takedown of children’s literature expertly blended with stories from the comedian’s real life. Phillip’s point of view led to a delightful roast of storytime classics that had me laughing the whole time.
