Elli is a compelling writer and storyteller and I thoroughly enjoyed witnessing her powerful journey from such a heartbreaking year that taught her so much. I was rooting for her to revel in the power of her intuition and to keep unlearning what she absorbed as a child. ...

I really enjoyed this witty one woman show. It’s very slick and funny, while taking us on a growth journey. I think anyone who has lacked boundaries in a relationship will relate to it. Have you ever felt like you have to be nice and loyal? The actress plays her boyfriend with hilarious characterization, and we feel her pain with his endless lame excuses. Her take on self help is refreshing and blunt, and always gets a laugh. The ending is strong, and we learn the missing piece that helps the protagonist accept herself.
I would definitely recommend seeing this show and it could definitely be turned into a movie! Dramady!...

Hell of a Year was the first show I saw for Fringe 2024 and I'm so glad it was! The show was so well thought out and executed. Elli is a powerful storyteller who keeps the crowd engaged during every moment of the show. The writing was clever, heartfelt, and funny! Some solo shows can be cringey in their lack of self-awareness to what is actually interesting to an audience who doesn't have a relationship to the performer. This solo show was none of those things, it shined bright with a full story that anyone could relate to!...

Elli Legerski arrives in her Fringe debut with all the hairflips, heartbreak, and hard honesty you could ask for. This is a delightful first attempt at solo performance, and one that many seasoned performers could learn from. The execution of this solo show, with its messy authenticity, simple set, and half-hour run time, understands the assignment at Hollywood Fringe. Go see this show. Be entertained by Legerski’s natural charisma and engaged by her perspective on relationships. If you don’t like it, you’re out of there in 35 minutes. ...
