I liked how it felt we were watching a performance piece. Although there was structure in the stories to guide us through the journey, the moments in between let us see the real humanity these two people. Each performance I’m sure feels so different since they allow for play and discovery. The clock being onstage gave us a way to see how this story was unfolding and feel the concept of time as Christopher goes through his life with his father.

My overall impression
A story of the complex relationship between a father and a son. Christopher is a talented storyteller and you feel the love he has for his Father. He doesn’t shy away from uncomfortable moments and lets the audience sit in the venerability. You feel every emotion on this journey. A unique theater experience like no other I have witnessed. Allowing to be seen for the good and bad from both points of view gives the audience a way into our own lived experience with our family.
