What I liked

It feels like the audience is being invited into a very intimate family discussion as Christopher and his father relive pivotal moments together. I imagine this show will inspire some audience members to have open, raw dialogues with their family members about moments that made an impression on them. I highly recommend this show!

What I didn't like

No two performances are alike, as Christopher and his father continue to discover new moments together on stage. Not a bad thing – it means every audience gets to enjoy a unique, once-in-a-lifetime performance.

My overall impression

This solo-ish show is a beautiful, vulnerable piece of storytelling about Christopher and his complicated, ever-evolving relationship with his father (who is also on stage throughout the show.) It’s a truly unique experience. The audience gets to witness special moments they share together as they recount the history of their relationship.
