I think the thing I liked the most was how generous Christopher is in sharing the imperfections – absolutely all of them. There is no artifice, there is no tying a bow on a complex story. There is only sharing, and, hopefully, growth.
I absolutely loved the mess of it all. I loved that we were hyper aware of time – one of the more moving ideas of this show is the idea that there is never enough time with family. I loved the humor and lightness, even in the heaviest moments. I was so moved by this show – I was crying 20 minutes after I left.
Don’t miss it. Seriously.
What I didn't like
Nothing at all.
My overall impression
I am still processing this beautiful show, but I can say that it is my favorite thing I have seen. I have now seen nearly 20 Fringe shows this June, and many of those shows were wonderful. This is still the one. Wow. Absolutely stunning.
