The set, the story, Christopher’s delivery, Abel’s willingness to be there for his son (and his reasons why he’s there). The storytelling. The countdown clock…I could go on. This show is a MUSTSEE.
What I didn't like
I just don’t know how long Abel is willing to sit there and be a part of this show. I feel like it’s a fleeting moment in time. Again…a MUSTSEE
My overall impression
Wow. How does one explain just how profoundly special this show is? Christopher stands onstage as his father (yes, his actual father) sits there as Christopher tells stories of their complicated relationship. The show is funny, moving, and shook me to my core. I’m not sure I’ll see a better show this year. Honestly.
