What I liked

There are so many things to like. Christopher is gifted, the set is evocative and effective, Dad is regal and vulnerable, there’s a set piece that creates urgency. Great work from all collaborators.

What I didn't like

This show will by definition be evolving throughout the run. You could go twice and not see the same thing. That’s not a criticism, it’s a positive fact. Also— I used the $10 lot suggested by the email. Bring cash for that.

My overall impression

You really don’t want to miss this show! You’ll see a lot more from Christopher, but you’ll never get this particular experience again. Chris and Dad have made something beautiful and unique that takes the craft of funny, detailed storytelling and adds dimension after dimension— languages, family relationship, presence, and the mystery of who people are to each other really.
