This play did not talk about anything that hasn’t been discussed many times before. But, it is always gratifying to see a South Asian creative person embody their sexuality with so much confidence and poise in the public. And that is where Sarish Khan’s Platinum Pussy stands out. The talk show format took some of the edge away from me, because the reality that a truant guest would be very promptly cut was constantly at the back of my mind. At the very least, the host could/should have been a woman, that would have amplified the humor so much more. Vimala Veera anyone. And I say this not as a fan of Bollywood, but the track could have invoked some Bollywood bangers, not because the play has a South Asian but because them tracks and their tong... full review

Platinum Pussy is a very fun concept for a show. I hadn't experienced the talk show format being made into a stage show, and I found the whole experience to be very immersive and clever. The orgasm gap is real, and I quite liked Sarish's vulnerability and the overall message: without bringing men into the conversation, and without shaming them, nothing will change.... full review

It was so much fun! The producers, writers, and cast did a fabulous job. Through humor and tears, this show highlights outdated notions that don't prioritize women's pleasure, championing the idea that women's satisfaction is equally essential. A high energy, and interactive, "live-taping" of a late night program made Platinum Pussy a super fun and engaging show! The audience interaction kept the energy up and was another way to add humor, with some hilarious jokes and physical humor from the "producers" and "audience warm up guy". All of the actors balanced comedy and drama by landing jokes, physical humor, improv, and also leaving the audience with heartfelt moments about topics that affect us today.
