What I liked
The pre-show entertainer, the heartfelt moments from the lead, the balance of comedy and drama. The set was believable and felt like I was in a live-taping of a late night show.
What I didn't like
Holding the bottle/container longer so we can see what it says; having the audience warm-up guy introduce himself as such and explain what’s about to happen in simple terms so the audience is more warmed up to interact – like practicing applause levels and cheers/jeers.
My overall impression
A high energy, and interactive, “live-taping” of a late night program made Platinum Pussy a super fun and engaging show! The audience interaction kept the energy up and was another way to add humor, with some hilarious jokes and physical humor from the “producers” and “audience warm up guy”. All of the actors balanced comedy and drama by landing jokes, physical humor, improv, and also leaving the audience with heartfelt moments about topics that affect us today. Highly recommend attending.
