Steve Jobs and Buck Taskaroo — who is a cowboy — are best friends, a dynamic duo looking to make a name for themselves in Silicon Valley. But what happens when one person is destined to succeed and the other… might not be? This comedy satirizes the Industry, fate, and all things friendship.
This play offers an absurd reimagining of a very famous story about success, genius, jealousy, betrayal, and most importantly, fate. We don’t know why things work out for some people and not for others. Especially in Los Angeles, countless people are here taking a big risk to pursue a dream. This play explores the tragicomedy of two best friends who share a dream, but only one of them is meant to prevail.
Buck Taskaroo is a cowboy. Steve Jobs went to Stanford and has an idea for a company called Apple. They’re best friends looking to shake up Silicon Valley. This play aims to be laugh out loud funny, totally absurd, but tug at your heart strings all the same as you watch the dissolution of a friendship.
