What I liked
From the moment the show began I thought, “I’m about to witness something supremely clever.” And boy, was that true. The writing, the callbacks, the characterization, the imagery, the depth of explanation about the thought processes of this phobia… I was gripped through the whole performance, and was feeling along with her as she encountered new triggers throughout her story.
What I didn't like
No notes! This show is definitely ready to be taken to new heights!
My overall impression
Witty, funny, harrowing, and even scary. This show conveyed the experience of this phobia so well, it left me feeling viscerally anxious afterwards. One of my favorites of Fringe this year.
