The conceit of Emily cleaning up her childhood bedroom provided a great hook/jumping off point for the multiple stories she shares throughout the show.
What I didn't like
This is more a note on the theater itself, but audience members should sit closer to the stage if possible. From the back row, it was hard to see action and props on the floor.
My overall impression
By the time this funny and clever exploration of a phobia turns to the darker reality of what it means to fear your own body, it’s too late. Emily has already caught you with humor and excellent storytelling, so you have no choice but to take the emotional gut punch. But don’t worry, it’s not too hard of a punch. Can’t have anyone vomiting during the show, after all.
