I had the pleasure of experiencing 'My Little Phobia' a one-woman show that left me utterly captivated. The moment Emily took center stage, she effortlessly guided us through the maze of her psyche. At the heart of the performance was her phobia of vomiting, a topic that could easily veer into discomfort but was instead transformed into a captivating narrative. With a blend of humor and raw honesty, she skillfully wove together anecdotes that ranged from hilarious to deeply moving. Emily Markoe moves easily from persona to persona, occasionally breaking the fourth wall to surprising effect.
