About the Project
I have been writing plays, poems, songs and stories since I was very small, and now seek to display my best works in a fashion that is presentable and enjoyable within 3 formats of media: in print, on stage, and with musical accompaniment recorded on a CD and available online as downloadable MP3 files.
MUSIC: I have recorded 7 of 12 songs that will be used for the mixtape. When finished, I will be manufacturing hard-copies myself to give away (for a suggested donation) at these shows.
PRINT: Manuscripts including the stageplay and selections from an Anthology of Poetry I plan on publishing in 2013 will be available. I wish to give these away to select audience members for a suggested donation.
STAGE: The stories I tell on these recordings all interweave with one another in a direct fashion that leads to a climax and then a conclusion. I wish to narrate the songs and do bits of spoken material in between so as to educate and engage the audience.
