What I liked

I really liked the concept and the way music is used as part of the storytelling. The focus on James’s emotional journey gives the production a strong human element, and the idea of exploring grief through hip-hop makes it feel distinctive. The story also seems willing to tackle difficult emotions rather than keeping things superficial.

What I didn't like

At times, the story seems to cover a lot of heavy themes at once. A little more balance between the darker moments and quieter, hopeful moments could make the emotional journey even more impactful. I’d also be interested in seeing more development of the characters around James so their relationships and influence on his journey feel even clearer.

My overall impression

Silhouettes of Scarlet sounds like a powerful and emotionally driven production. The combination of hip-hop, drama, and real-life experiences gives the story a personal quality, while the Snake Game connection between the seven stages of grief and the seven deadly sins adds an interesting layer to the narrative. The themes of loss, healing, and self-acceptance feel meaningful and relatable.
