So, How Do You Play?
The beauty of Solar Smash lies in its accessibility. There’s no complex plot or intricate control scheme to master. You start with a chosen planet, usually Earth, and a vast array of destructive tools at your disposal. These range from asteroids and lasers to missiles, alien swarms, and even… giant space chickens (yes, you read that right).
What I didn't like
The interface is clean and intuitive. You can zoom in and out, rotate the planet, and toggle various visual effects. There’s no score to keep, no timer to beat, and no real objective other than to explore the different weapons and witness the ensuing chaos. Want to see what happens when you bombard Earth with thousands of asteroids? Go for it! Curious about the effects of a black hole? Give it a whirl!
My overall impression
Build, Blast, Breathe Fire Across Space: Solar Smash is Live
Feeling stressed? Got a burning desire to obliterate something, but you know, in a totally harmless and virtual way? Then look no further than Solar Smash, a deceptively simple yet incredibly addictive planet destruction simulator. It might sound a bit morbid, but trust me, it’s a surprisingly cathartic experience.
