What I liked

I really liked that full band with conductor. A great way to start the show. All of the music is really well written, and I loved the dancers too and the way they incorporated the shadow silhouettes.

What I didn't like

Ditch the wireless vocal mics all together. Use a combination of hard wired mics placed strategically on stage to be used as needed or just project with no mics. It’s possible for wireless mics to work in this situation but there were too many issues and within the constraints of Fringe it would likely be too much to fix. Hardwired vocal mics (like the kind on a mic stand) would probably be a really helpful tool to make the show sing! Wishing success to future performances!

My overall impression

I was impressed to see Chris go all out and clearly give everything he’s got to explore this tragic and traumatic part of his life. Using song and movement, he tries to find his way through tragedy and chaos to get to the other side.
