What I liked
The story and the well written songs! What a great way to address the reality that many face when their parents are aging. I also loved how each of the main characters had their own layered life challenges that they were dealing with outside of their immediate family challenges. I love the grand vision and creative way the production moved the numerous set pieces around, and made it work successfully in such a short production. A production like this takes a village and the village delivered. Kudos!
What I didn't like
I’m looking forward to this production growing and finding its sweet spot. I definitely see this as a full length musical in a larger venue with all the bells and whistles. Keep fine tuning it. You’ve got a great show!
My overall impression
What an entertaining, and fun musical. What do you do to help navigate the layered family dynamics… sing it out! I mean, why not?! You will really enjoy the well written songs that helped pushed the story along. The songs added comedy and heart felt moments to the scenes. Even if you’re not a big musical fan, you’ll enjoy the comedy that the music numbers provide. Go see it!
