The moments of discomfort, because it left one with nothing else to do but sit with it and be in the big feelings that she was feeling and that were brought up within. The initial song was beautiful. The lighting and sound effects were woven in perfectly.

My overall impression
Brilliant and moving. This was the most present and undistracted I have been in a while. I was absolutely captivated by Krystle’s performance (both singing and acting). Her ability to emote was so clear and authentic. I cried at least five times throughout the hour-long performance! There is so much to learn about the experience of being a mother, an immigrant, a sister, a human being, from this show, and leaves one with the desire for it to be a longer show! I felt changed watching this! Brava!
