There were some kooky aspects, such as the special telephone for communicating with her husband (I loved it), which balanced nicely with heavier moments. Also Krystle has a beautiful singing voice.
What I didn't like
I was unfamiliar with some cultural and religious aspects that were presented, but that just inspires me to learn more about them.
My overall impression
A fascinating look at the many different roles women play (often simultaneously, on their own) and where those expectations come from – society, religion, family, culture, ourselves. With so many demands and emotions, it’s easy to see how this character struggles and how she works to convince not just her guest but herself that everything is fine.
