What I liked

I loved his anecdotes and stories about his family and childhood. Jon is clearly a sensitive being, which makes his heightened recounts of his times as a child all the more hilarious. Also, his style! You can see this man coming from a mile away – the beard, the cowboy button-down and boots, I was picturing his future Netflix special while I was watching him! I can’t wait to see where Jon goes, and “Just the Tip” needs to go ON TOUR! Will be following so I know where to buy my tickets next!

What I didn't like

More beard.

My overall impression

Jon is an absolute pro and veteran of the stage, and it shows. His writing, style, comedic timing, and total charm had us, the audience, with him before we even saw him on stage (spoiler alert: we HEARD him before we saw him ;). Jon has an incredible balance of heart, humor, and humanity in his stand-up, which immediately made me a fan. He has no problem using his platform to broach current events, and I commend him for doing so with care and comedy, while staying true to himself.
