What I liked

Everything. Jon is very charismatic, has an amazing presence on stage and uses whatever comes up in the moment, and his kinesthetic response to it to spice up his show in a very witty way.
I loved the humanity he brought into his show when talking about Palestinians. I love that he is using his Jewish identity and voice to humanize Palestinians, and with that pushes people to think deeper, far beyond just the tip of what mainstream media and propaganda present to them. And really highlights the similarities that bring forward both our shared struggles and our shared humanity. Thank you Jon for this wonderful piece.

My overall impression

Witty. Daring. Bold. Hilarious. Jon is a comic genius. While remaining hilarious throughout the whole show, he still covered very important political topics and used his voice and platform to advocate for the common liberation of oppressed peoples (Jews and Palestinians) that are systemically put against each other by and to benefit white supremacy. People expect to come and have a laugh, but end up not only laughing, but also leaving with a lot to think about and research. Cleverly woven, Just the Tip covers both antisemitism and islamophobia, and other subjects that go deeper than just the tip!
