What I liked
The show is so colorful, playful and fascinating. Maddie brings LA’s modern underground music scene into a theatrical environment. She’s like a more bubbly Amanda Palmer. Or if Kimya Dawson made effervescent electronic music about shapes and poop. The sheer joy of performing is ever-present.

My overall impression
Maddie is such a lovable weirdo. This show is wholly unique, but somehow relatable. It’s like a fun punk fever dream. I can see somebody not liking this show, but I wouldn’t want to hang out with them.
