Rectangles

I want to wish one of the biggest congratulations on the production and performance of rectangles. It was amazing to see it in the way it was originally intended where Maddie and Cleo had a theater to themselves and not have to worry about the act who went before or the act that went after. The sound design and production were brilliant and the joy and passion on Maddie’s face performing such an original and personal piece of art is evident with every block. Maddie is truly an original! A unique gross adventure of blocks and poop! Her voice is so unique and her brain is so strange. Silly, weird and original. As a people pleaser myself it is cool to see a physical manifestation of blocks being the thing that is sharp and weighs you down. When you look through the silliness of the show you realize how sad it is, which is a great way to tell story. ... full review
