slight technical issues with the headset, but nothing at all about the show!
My overall impression
a truly singular show from a truly singular mind, the meeting point of imagination, trauma, song, dance, and play. Maddie has created a show as relentless as her mind and her joy, finding a truly unique approach to surrealist body horror and to audience empathy, using literal building blocks to build surreal metaphors within narratives until knocking them down with blunt emotional truth and honesty. Hilarious, startling, and moving, Maddie has given us all a truly wonderful gift <3
