What I liked
I liked how Maddie connected to the audience throughout the show, She had a lot of imagery in her stories and commanded the stage while doing so. The play kept me thinking about these blocks as a metaphor… very well done!
What I didn't like
One thing I could say, is that in the beginning the music felt too loud. Not sure what the use of pre-recorded vocals were for (other than voice over), because she sounded great live as well.
My overall impression
Yes! This is what Fringe is all about! Highly Recommend! So glad this was my first show to start of the season. Personal, experiential, musical, comical, movement, and a strong storyline.
