What I liked
The acting. She was very talented, knows this character. Reminiscent of the mom from TED mixed with Diane Weist in Birdcage. The direction was also very strong. Simple with smart choices. Her drunk acting is great too! Not over the top.
What I didn't like
The script could use a look over by a comedy writer. The actress MAKES it, but some of the jokes could be even funnier. And that’s nitpicky cause it was all very charming.
My overall impression
Charming with good chuckles and a heart.
