Quicksand

What I liked

I wasn’t expecting to learn so much! Heather knows how to tell the truth about life and death and everything in between, and her life in particular is so interesting. The storytelling was superb and she has an excellent ability to use humor in the face of tragedy and hardship. The show and the making of it felt like a real triumph! Also, the surprise “guests” were simply delightful!

Quicksand will leave you with an entirely new and compassionate understanding of disability, accessibility, death, healthcare, female endurance, and human resilience. This show is engaging, funny, moving, and deeply personal (yet very relatable).
