What I didn't like
Everything was 10/10!
My overall impression
Natalie’s storytelling literally changed my brain chemistry. She skillfully weaves moments of levity with the harsh realities of saying goodbye to what we once knew our lives to be. The show takes you through a journey of navigating the layers to our identity that illness adds to and strips away from us. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll experience the rollercoaster of watching someone so precious to you slip through your fingers. The way Natalie portrays the multifaceted emotions associated with her mother’s diagnosis —fear, confusion, love, and hope—left me in awe. Her ability to convey such a wide range of feelings and memories on such a small stage is a testament to her talent and dedication. This is a tragicomedy, this is a memoir, this is a love story.
