What I liked
The use of space and breaths between scenes – ah! And the dream mirror moments hit me in the gut – I don’t think I’ve cried that hard in a long, long time. Wish I could see this over and over again.

My overall impression
Tender, honest, poetic and poignant. This play offered a behind the scenes look at a story that is so often experienced and yet so rarely told in such a beautiful way. Natalie gives an incredibly natural and powerful performance – guiding the audience ever so gently up and down the rollercoaster of being a young caretaker for a parent with Alzheimer’s. Each moment felt new and often I forgot I was sitting in an audience and not on her couch as a friend as she walked through moments of humor right after heavy realizations from her current reality. This play deserves to continue and travel around as I believe it to be something truly unique and special. This is only the beginning for such a breakout star! BRAVO TO THE ENTIRE TEAM!
