What I liked

Natalie is honest and self-deprecating as she cracks open a window into the frightening loneliness that comes with bearing witness to the diminishment of someone cherished, and the terror that the fate she is observing may one day become her own. Yet the show is never maudlin and always humorous and touching. As she awaits through sleepless the results of a test that could presage a frightening future, Natalie meets each day with hope, and ultimately perseveres to find meaning in the journey.

What I didn't like

In future productions the show will benefit from more production resources, but the director and design team have made great use of what is available, showing clearly — as does Natalie’s performance and script — what’s possible.

My overall impression

Terrific show. Warm and moving, funny and sad, well-written and well-conceived. I hope this finds the wide audience it deserves.
