I felt everything worked, the music, staging, and text all worked so cohesively.
What I didn't like
Nothing comes to mind.
My overall impression
The moment the music begins and Natalie enters, you instantly know you will be in for a truly cerebral experience. The show ebbs and flows, each moment determining the next. The deep emotions shared by the actor/playwright had me wanting to leap from my chair and soothe them. With direction from Terra McKintosh, Natalie shows the power of absolute vulnerability, and with that, creates an experience that is undeniably universal. Whether or not you have ever known or cared for anyone experiencing memory loss and/or cognitive decline, “I’ll Be With You In A Minute,” drops you into that world, where you feel every moment of fear, anxiety over your future, sadness, loss, grief, and joy, and unconditional love.
