Natalie’s writing took risks, and delivered. One hilarious narrative thread was her lusting toward various men in her mother’s health/care network, walking the line- but never a step too far. Her drooling set against a backdrop of the seriousness of her mother’s condition and Natalie’s own mental health struggles made it all the more funny.
I found it refreshing and unexpected to see Natalie do this to these men (doctors and other health care workers), given that it is too easy to imagine them objectifying her!
Natalie’s one woman show captivated the audience from the very beginning, with a riveting, and surprisingly relatable plot line. She brings magic, laughter and dignity to the story of a caregiver juggling one’s needs, health ...

Poignantly and powerfully portrayed by Natalie Grove, “I’ll Be With You In a Minute” takes the audience on a highly personal yet universally felt journey of the loved one’s perspective of Alzheimer’s. Grove’s honestly and vulnerability had the audience captivated - laughing and crying and absorbing her artful immediacy. A true work of art....

The play gracefully threads the intersections between Grove’s daily life and the impacts her mother’s condition has across every part of her life. It sheds a light on the toll dementia takes not only on those diagnosed but on their loved ones and caregivers.
Grove’s performance is so poignant and honest you cannot help but be moved by it.
While watching this piece, and Terra Mackintosh’s skillful and thoughtful direction, you’ll be invited to reflect on the internal scars we all carry and the brave face we try to put on in the midst of the unseen burden of slowly saying goodbye to those we love most.
The continual levity throughout the production allows us to bear the burden with Grove as she vulnerably walks us through her own journey....

I'm not sure where to begin - how can i really describe or share what we experienced watching this show? I'll Be With You In A Minute was deeply moving, heartfelt, funny, playful, warm and mournful - it oscillated between frenetic and steady, all intentionally, and all so perfectly. Natalie shared her grief with us in ways that made the entire audience erupt in laughter in one moment, and break out in tears in another. Truly a delight to watch Natalie in action and see this story unfold. I'll be thinking about this show until I have an opportunity to see it again....
