What I liked
Annie Kahane creates something entirely fresh with this show. The integration of dance / fantastical plot is both sophisticated AND dripping with a sense of childlike wonderment. It’s nothing less than an act of love to address our collective cognitive dissonance during challenging times but in a way that feels kind in curious instead of heavy handed.
What I didn't like
Nothing. The show is awesome.
My overall impression
Meeting #7 is a beautiful work of satire that addresses challenging global issues using movement, stunning video, and hilarious dialogue. As if Pina Bausch and Kurt Vonnegut met in a bar… Annie Kahane is so fun to watch and this show taps into the zeitgeist in a brilliant way. Bravo!
