Boy, is Sam a beautiful and genuine performer. Her love for and pain with Hollywood shine through in her show, displaying her personal struggles with this difficult city. We see a real look into the life of a Hollywood actress that is also being hyperbolized and romanticized by the mind of someone in love with Hollywood. SAM is an incredible masterclass in being an aspiring actress from the SF Valley and attempting to reach fame, happiness, self-actualization, a job. As the audience, you go through an incredible journey of beautiful original music with a live accompanied keyboardist, Sam's interesting dance moves, and some great jokes--literally, Sam does stand up in one bit. It's so much fun and definitely relatable as a fellow valley girl actress-writer person trying to "make it" and figure out who you are and why you're here. ...
