What I liked

The detailed character development, including Harold the Mannequin. The simple yet extremely effective choreography. The costumes, the quick and witty script, the multimedia richness….too many to mention all the aspects I not just liked, but LOVED.

What I didn't like

Not one thing could have been improved.

My overall impression

A MASTERPIECE. If you haven’t seen this show yet, you may think I’m exaggerating. But if you have, chances are you agree that Caroline O’Meara is brilliant. This show is hilarious and poignant, tough and sweet. From the character development to the costumes and multimedia experience, I was riveted for the entire 40 minutes.

Caroline is a powerhouse – her writing is quick, witty and very relevant. She improvised a few times during the show we attended. A couple of people came in late and were self conscious and hesitating to take a seat and she stayed in character interacting with them and made them feel welcome & comfortable. We saw the show on Father’s Day and she incorporated the holiday into the show.

Caroline is a very gifted artist, performer, writer, dancer, and creator. There are so many spot on details that made the oddball characters and story completely real. And not just anybody can make a mannequin come to life. And how many shows give you a rose petal as your entrance ticket?

With Caroline’s encouragement, what took place at the end of the show was truly magical. Thank you Caroline for creating a great theater adventure. An experience we will not soon forget. When you see this show, I hope you are lucky enough to feel that magic too.
