World Premiere

These three original pieces were written, directed and performed by the recent graduates of the Art of Acting Studio Conservatory. Developed during the 2017 Professional Conservatory Class solo show project, each is an artistic exploration of the life of a notable personality throughout history.

Like many millennials, Charlie is at a crossroads in his life. He dreams of having a successful podcast, but is unable to connect with the people on his show. However, a certain guest may just change the game for him.

"Only the Beginning" follows a young man on the brink of adulthood as he navigates through his parents’ divorce. After his father walks out on their family, Bobby, a soon-to-be college graduate, finds himself putting his dreams on hold to take care of his mother as she seemingly falls apart.

A deliciously dark comedy about an unlikely friendship between a socially inept young boy & a morbidly obese novelist. They both seek refuge from a dismal reality in the worlds of their respective imaginations, exploring the dangers of living solely in the space where imagination & memory converge.
