I love when artists take complicated issues and make them personal. That's what this show is. Tiffany Esteb delivers a compelling solo performance for something that very evidently had a major impact on her life to say the least. It was difficult not to get angry or at least seriously disturbed, listening to her experience unfold and virtually impossible not to think "if that were me." Which is what ultimately makes for compelling theater....

A very engaging performance by Virginia. One of my favorite things about Fringe is discovering stories I knew absolutely nothing about before walking into the theater.
I Am Nahui Olin was one of those shows.
Virginia introduces audiences to the life of Mexican artist, poet, and intellectual Nahui Olin with passion, conviction, and an obvious admiration for her. What could have felt like a history lesson instead becomes a personal story about a woman determined to live life on her own terms an...

A moving story about tackling the pressures of parenthood.
With a husband eager to start a family, Pam launches a covert mission she calls "sperm assassination."
What follows is a series of comedic confessions, storytelling moments, and genuine reflections. Pam's openness to expose the anxiety and vulnerability that accompanies the fear of mother/parenthood is honest and at moments, uncomfortable. The stakes feel real. Even as male watching it, I was feeling the anxiety.
An engaging 75-minute...

A more traditional show. Left feeling great and humming the tunes. I really enjoyed the music and boy, did they pack a lot of it in there but mixing in anecdotes was a great way to tell their story. ...

So much quality packed into 55 min fringe show. Not shortage of production value, entertainment or talent here. Extremely well done. Extremely talented, likable and funny cast, clever lyrics, jokes and overall writing. Primarily the energy every one of the cast members made it so easy to stay engaged. No weak link. Some serious musical comedy talent who I wouldn't at all be surprised to see on Broadway at some point. For anyone on the fence, a definite effort should be made to check this one out....

I really enjoyed both of these. The relationship between the mother and daughter Anna Lisa and Tammy was really terrific In the first scene. Not to take anything away from the mother and son characters or the rest of the cast. They were all really great. I just found myself getting glassy eyed during the mother daughter moments because you could feel the realness of what, I assume, the writer pulled from. And if I'm wrong, it was just very well written in general....

I was familiar with this piece having participated in an early reading and that went great but to see the writer's vision really come to life fully staged was really impactful. You can see the passion this writer has for telling a story. The jokes were very well constructed, the timing of the actors was very on point, the characterizations of every cast member fit perfectly into the world of this show. Nothing felt out of place. Despite being a farce, it was somehow still grounded which is not an...
