Drew Petriello has done it again! Buckle up for a jam packed excursion into the psyche of Devon with all facets right up front and in your face. You may not know Devon off the bat but you'll see yourself in there as the show plays out; all of us trying to come to terms with that pesky dark-side that we can't seem to shake. It's a perfect Fringe Show and a testament to Drew's creative and adventurous spirit. ...

There are so many jokes happening within Alex Enriquez' snappy monologue, sketches, and interviews, but there are also dozens of other hilarious things he is doing in between. He's a a throwback, classic funny-man perfectly suited for this format, and he always innately knows the exact delivery required for each moment, and then is also so at ease in the moment, that sublime comedy can evolve organically, often completely improvised with his guests. There were more laugh-out-loud moments than I c...

An epic cluster of a first date gone nuclear, hitting all the right chaotic notes along the way, with a spot-on perfect cast and wonderful directing. Oh Lorraine is one of the funniest shows I've ever seen at Fringe. I realized afterward that this play is really my kind of show, the type of comedic writing that I love, so thanks to Peter Fluet for reminding me of that, and giving us a brilliantly shining diamond with this show. ...

Extraordinary storytelling at its most alluring. I am already on the record that Michael Shaw Fisher is one of my favorite writers, full stop, and once again he dazzles Hollywood Fringe audiences as writer/director. The cast is wonderful as they expertly usher us along this whimsical tale, that has no top or bottom, or sides. I loved David Haverty, Leigh Wulff, and Fisher himself, who by now are all old stand-bys in Shaw Fisher works. I'd never seen Misha Reeves or Juan Lozano before but they fit...

I loved this show! A true testament to Kristen Boule, Tiffany Asta, and Scott Golden's collective and irresistible adventurous spirit, Welcome to the Neighborhood is a non-stop blast. As you make your way around the BBQ, you are introduced to the characters, (all of whom are absolutely pitch-perfect) and then hilarity and intrigue begin to effortlessly unfold from all sides around you.
(As with every immersive Kristen Boule joint,) I had no idea what to expect when we showed up at a slightly ou...

Very fun and informative show with an important message. Sophia Del Pizzo brilliantly takes the audience along on a journey through her struggles with anxiety, and teaches us quite a bit about the subject in the process, which I realized, I should actually know a lot more about!...

Extremely funny and effective take on the much maligned "one-person-show" concept. Matt Richey crushes it from every angle, and Jim Niedzialkowski is perfect as the Stage manager in the middle of a nightmare Tech. It is a hilarious and heart-felt piece, that exposes the egomaniacal nature and naiveté of many LA Actor-types, while also fortifying the need for, and perhaps the worth of, such ambitious/pretentious pieces. Somehow Matt Richey's script is simultaneously in on the joke while creatin...
