Pit of Hope

This one is for all the dog lovers! Pit of Hope highlights those who are doing their part to bring awareness to the animal shelter crisis as well as the humanitarian crisis caused by ICE. A political show that reflects the divided society we live in and the consequences that it brings. It definitely made me sad, but there were some beautiful moments in there as well. A solid first work for this new-to-fringe writer!!... full review

Absolutely insane lol If you like chaotic campy parodies, this is your show!!! A ridiculous musical that is completely unserious and provides nonstop laughs. For those who got to see it in 2016 it’s a fun throwback! There are NO TROLLS in this show!!!!! Haha ... full review

Max Davidson: Strangers

This man is not a magician, he is a WIZARD!!!! I am genuinely so freaked out by the insane magic I witnessed… it’s been a day and I’m still thinking about how crazy that show was. Unbelievable levels of memory work, mentalism and magic that surpass reality. I am a lifelong fan of magic and go to the Magic Castle often and when I tell you this is the coolest show I have seen. Even if the illusions didn’t blow my mind (which they did) his show was personable and charming, just an effortless enterta... full review

Absolutely obsessed with this show! The writing was incredibly clever, the concept unique, and the characters exceptionally funny. A story in three parts, they will take you on an absolute JOURNEY. I was laughing out loud for so much of this show - really really great humor. Sadly they’ve closed for fringe but if they come back I’d see it again!!... full review

Lustily Ever After: The Musical

Silly, campy, fun! Everything you’d want from a parody musical. Enjoyed all the references to some of my fave romance novels and I thought the actors were particularly fantastic in this. This one is for the booktok romance girlies :) ... full review

This is one Fringe show you CANNOT miss this year! I’m still not over it. Such a beautiful show written by James Byous and delivered with such a perfect mix of rock and roll and utter vulnerability. The cast is filled with some of the best singers in the city and the songs are outrageously good. A musical about addiction done in a completely fresh and original way that had me in tears by the end. I hope this show runs for a long time and that everyone gets a chance to experience it. ... full review

Wet Hot AMUSICAL Summer

This is why I come to Fringe! Cherry Poppins always brings solid musical comedy, and this show is no exception. A love letter to the original movie, it delivers the perfect amount of camp, rock and roll vocals, killer choreo, and laugh out loud antics. A perfect show for summer, and a slam dunk performance by all these brilliant actors. Highly recommend!!!... full review

Spectacularly written piece, definitely kept me guessing. The actors really nailed the assignment, makes me wanna watch it again from the beginning to catch all the little choices they were making. This company never disappoints, and this play is no exception! Make sure to check it out! ... full review

Prepare to be DAZZLED! An absolutely thrilling magical spy adventure with insane illusions, clever storytelling, comedic banter, and fun interactions with the audience. Magical Katrina’s reputation did not disappoint, I was happily surprised that she is even doing a show at Fringe! Our Sunday show was sold out - so make sure you see this before it’s gone! This is a can’t-miss show! ... full review

The Meeting

When a show that’s meant to be dystopian is a little too on the nose. A very unique concept that fits our extreme political circumstances. I thought the show had a lot of great acting and powerful emotion, and was a different sort of offering at Fringe. Also I really appreciated the coffee and donuts for such an intense kind of show! ... full review
