The Wizard of Oh No!

In the same vein as “The Play Gone Wrong,” this comedic farce was an entertaining journey that had me giggling from the start. I loved this cast of characters so much, they all brought something hilarious and unique to the table. If you like shows that lean into the stupid and silly, this is the one for you!!!! ... full review

PIPPIN (Hollywood Forever!)

So excited I finally got to see Pippin! Definitely a show I’d wanted to see for a while and I’m so glad JAXX took it on! They’re known for their insane choreo numbers and this was no exception. Killer ensemble work and the leads were excellent. It’s definitely a more modern take on Pippin, but I really enjoyed it! This theater always puts on a great, high quality production. ... full review

Dog of Carnage

Another brilliant piece by Benjamin Schwartz, this time focusing on the relationship between two people and the complexities that lie within. It was intense, gripping, and utterly heartbreaking. The actors left every last bit of themselves on that stage. This show is a perfect example of how perspective really makes all the difference and how difficult communication can be when everything with our hearts on the line. Brava to this exceptional team! ... full review

Family Fries

This show is so f*cked up and I LOVED IT. Deliciously dark and gripping, had me on the edge of my seat. One of the most twisted shows I’ve ever seen at Fringe and I am legitimately obsessed. Pam hit this one out of the park, you will squirm and gasp and you will absolutely love it. Go see it as soon as you can. ... full review

One Up: The Musical

A can’t-miss musical this year! Bringing back the fun and joy of Fringe musicals and showing what can be accomplished when you have an excellent team. Loved the actors in this show so much, they really brought so much heart and humor into their performance, and who doesn’t like an 80’s throwback? ... full review

Oh Constantine!

Monty Python meets the era of Constantine in this hilarious parody of ancient times. Thought the cast was very funny and it definitely made me want to go Wikipedia all these historical figures lol It’s a fun show for those who like camp and a lot of silly mixed with their history! ... full review

Amazing Sex Life of Rabbits

Absolutely brilliant. Michael Shaw Fisher always brings it with his theatrical offerings, but this has to be one of my favorite scripts, so darkly funny and sexy, it had me completely gripped. The cast is perfection and gave me everything I needed. I was absolutely in stitches for this dark comedy and even having the spoiler of knowing how it ends I’d see it again and again because the performances were so ridiculously good. This is a must-see at Fringe this season!!!! ... full review

Starlight Stage

A beautiful, heartbreaking journey depicting the complicated dynamics between sisters and mothers/daughters. This original show is ethereal, whimsical, and thoughtful, with just a touch of humor woven throughout. The cast was absolutely brilliant and the concept of dream jumping to tell the characters’ story was really unique. ... full review

A Perfectly Still Curveball

laura wiley · June 16, 2025 certified reviewer
It’s like Friends meets This is Us in this clever, thoughtful new play about adulthood and the different challenges that come down the road. Blending silly and heartbreaking with a touch of throwback nostalgia, this show explores a group of friends and how they handle a particularly brutal curveball. This team always brings it with solid acting and insightful writing and of course, the comedic brilliance that is Lucas Alifano. ... full review

Eternal Flamer! The Ballad of Jessie Blade

I AM OBSESSED!!! The new queer comedy play we all desperately need! I was absolutely blown away by this campy 80’s throwback show filled with deliriously clever writing and hysterical comedic acting. This team should be so proud of what they created. I would see this over and over again. A 1000/10 MUST SEE at Fringe 🌈... full review
