My Sister is an absolutely exquisite piece of theatre. Janet Schlapkohl has written a beautifully insightful and devastating play infused with humor and warmth. Emily and Elizabeth Hinkler are abundantly talented actresses giving bravura performances. Do whatever you need to do to see this play. It is not to be missed....

There are some immensely talented actor/singers in this production. Reagan Osborne has a gorgeously effortless voice and infuses his performance with wit and verve. Katy Harvey lights up the stage whenever she enters and delivers a song with a voice like warm honey. Michael Noah Levine has fine comic timing and good pipes.
A caveat: this is more of an emotional tone poem monologue concert than a musical. There is little character interaction or narrative through-line. The one instance of a tru...

Magnum Opus Players Present The Yearbook is just flipping glorious! A sharp, crisp, clever production with comic actors at the top of their game. The staging is bare bones but inventive and clean as they accommodate the numerous sets of a screenplay on a black box stage seamlessly with no loss of comedic momentum.
The cast is uniformly fantastic. The delightfully droll narrator, Thuston Eberhard Hillsboro-Smythe, pitch perfectly played by Brandon Clark is a delicious counterpoint to the manic...

A riotously gleeful romp through time and space written and performed by a talented troupe that clearly understands musical structure and genre. From Kat Primeau's hauntingly beautiful first note as the titular Timeheart they capture the tone of old school sci-fi perfectly. The sheer joy of Chris Bramante's delightfully awkward and hopeful Bruce Greenstreet is infectious. Molly Dworsky sings some gorgeous numbers as Melody McMoon and has a sweet and tart chemistry with Greenstreet. The entire cas...

Booze, Balls and Bluegrass is a show not to be missed. Laura Carson is a thoroughly engaging and honest storyteller with a wry and compassionate sense of humor and a relatable, entertaining and heartfelt tale to tell. It's well staged and beautifully performed.
There is not a false note in the evening, nor is there a moment of self-pity or demand for sympathy and attention by reason of existence that can plague one-person shows.
One-person shows live or die based on whether or not you want ...

Sin is an engaging evening. The cabaret staging suits the space of three clubs and they use the atmosphere to their advantage. It explores classic themes with a twist that are worth revisiting. It is a show with its heart on its sleeve. It is not campy or ironic; it is touching and lovely.
Saudia Yasmein, Santana, has an amazing voice and an electrifying presence. No moment is wasted. While ingenues can sometimes seem interchangeable, Sarah Kennedy brings strength and a clear, beautiful voice ...

This is a gem. Well-performed, well-written, well-produced and well-directed, Frank and Ava offers us glimpses into the lives of two icons we only thought we knew well. It's a brilliant marriage of piece and venue with nuanced and committed performances. Sitting in booths, cocktail in hand, makes the audience feel like we just heard Frank at a secret gig. Truly appreciated the care with which the Sinatra numbers were chosen to bridge scenes....
