Max Charbonneau

Maniac

One of my favorite shows this fringe. Todd Sullivan takes his play so seriously which makes the show feel really sacred even though it's really dumb. He zigs and zags and you never know what to expect.... full review

Mod's Medical Miracles

This show was so intensely stylized, and brilliant executed. The set design, costume design, and shadow puppetry alone make it a must see show. This is classic clown that is really well-executed. Simple, fun games that make the show feel dangerous. Great show.... full review

Show Me Your Dick: A lifetime of dating in larger body

AWESOME SHOW ALERT! Had fun looking at penises with my friends on a Tuesday night. Such a well told story with so much introspection. It is clear that Cara has thought a lot about what this show is and is able to articulate her perspective so well. Such a fun and memorable show!... full review

The Great Marzini

What a fun show. Marissa taps into the Great Marzini effortlessly with such a fun game to ground the whole show in. It was immersive, exciting, and magic. Even when Marzini messed up it was so clowny and fun. ... full review

Big Maestro & Little Cello Boy

max charbonneau · June 17, 2026 certified reviewer
Such a stupid show with a stupid premise and stupid performances. Big Maestro is just cranking out one-liners the whole show like no one's business, and Little Cello Boy earnestly incredible reaction work. He barely spoke but I was rooting for him of course. And then I mean the Cello is amazing. ... full review

Sister Bernadette Runs the Light

Really funny premise and excellent character from top to bottom. Sister Bernadette has so many tricks she pulls out the entire show. It's so earnestly what a nun would do at an open mic, and all tied together with a really sweet and exciting ending.... full review

Aidan Flynn's "FAME MAXXING" A one person show by Aidan Flynn

max charbonneau · June 16, 2026 certified reviewer
Honestly this show ruled. I laughed harder at this show than I've laughed at other shows. Belly laughs I mean. Felt like I was hanging out with a friend. The highs are high and that's because there are lows. I think it's so impressive to put on a show like this at the Hollywood Fringe there is no clown show happening in this Festival like Aidan's. All you gutter alley clowns should go.... full review

HYSTERICAL

max charbonneau · June 16, 2026 certified reviewer
Earnestly this is a masterpiece. Jackie Skinner is one of the most talented performers in Los Angeles. She is incredibly present, blurring the lines between herself and Beautiful Woman. I felt truly moved by the end of the show. It is funny, it's sad, it's creepy, it's everything I wanted to see in a Fringe show. This is a Max Charbonneau Must See. ... full review

Mandy Keen: MAGGIE

Mark Vigeant: OUT THERE

max charbonneau · June 14, 2026 certified reviewer
I mean how many reviews telling you this show is awesome do you need? Mark Vigeant instantly creates magic by immersing every single audience member into his world. I watched people in the audience turn from skeptical to elated within the first five minutes. The tech is incredible but it never feels like a gimmick he's relying on. He's so quick and present with every audience member, and makes us feel like we are all contributing to the show together. Lots of games, perfectly balanced. Earnestly ... full review
