We learn over the course of the Meeting what has happened and the mystery surrounding the Leader and Boot Crews adds to the tension. A smartly written show that presents a captivating horror story complete with jump scares, slow burn realizations, and a haunted house. Anyone who likes shanties, pirates, tight vocal harmonies, or live music will love this show. The show presents a collection of brilliantly arranged shanties which the pirate crew cast sings in such tightly perfect harmony. An exceptional new musical! The cast were stellar in their roles and their voices blended together beautifully. The opening number was a distinct highlight. The music was brilliantly composed and reminiscent of Jonathan Larson. The book and lyrics created memorable, fully developed characters who you wanted to root for and who you became invested in over the course of the show.
