THIS WAS FANTASTIC. Laurie is such a skilled storyteller. The audience was taken care of the whole time and entertained, duh. I loved how she was in control. There are many solo shows where the person starts to trauma dump, and you're left there watching like "oh they are working it out in front of me...eep." This did not happen with Laurie. Linzy's charisma is unmatched. It does not matter what she does, it's funny and lovable! In the first few minutes of the show, she gets everyone on her side with silly audience interaction and amazing/funny tech cues. What starts as a silly clown show truly packs a punch, especially with the added context of ICE in LA right now. Linzy is smart, empathetic, silly, and driven, which all elevate her show. AMAZING! Incredible folksy (but not limited to folksy) musicians. Their chemistry is unmatched and their ability to roll with the punches from the audience (arriving late, giving answers, etc). This was an hour of fun songs and a good cathartic gut punch. I loved every moment!... full review
