Fun and unpredictable, and I assume pretty accurate to the movie (I have seen the first one once and I don't remember it). A lot of precision and planned beats to hit, but also somehow totally organic and in the moment. Contained chaos is the best words for it....

A good balance of comedy and the sort of processing that comes with entering and leaving a high requirement religion. An excellent look into fear and how fear can drive us to do illogical things instead of facing it....

A wonderful meld of trauma, humor, nostalgia, and the scary nature of memories and just how easily they can be made and lost. What could easily be an insanely heavy topic is handled with ease by Emily, always staying light and funny until the weight really needs to be felt....

Beautiful, raw, and uncomfortable in all the right ways. Perfectly depicted father/daughter turmoil caused by many unhealed wounds, all with the conflict of loving each other in spite of all of it. And clowns. Clown are always awesome....
