It felt like Soleil was balancing like 50 plates while deftly accommodating the ceaseless demands of an audience bent on throwing them off kilter to no avail. Really fun, really playful. It's exciting to watch somebody retain control when there truly is soooo much chaos. ... full review

Really moving performances around a tight script that had an innovative staging and projection element to it. Sad and warm.... full review

SO FUN, so funny, delightful, stupid, silly, charming, and yet still with a message that resonated with me - a person raised in a religious household that made me deeply ashamed of my sexuality. A cathartic blast.... full review

AWESOME, BEAUTIFUL, POWERFUL. Sophie is so skilled in bringing us into her world, teasing us without making us feel bad, and celebrating our humanity in the most inclusive way. This absolutely ROCKS, should be required watching for everyone at the festival.... full review

Really tight, touching performances, excellent staging and lighting, and a beautiful script. Made me want to call the buddies I've lost touch with since my 20's who saw the worst sides of me to see how they're doing. Best acting I've seen at the festival and wonderful direction as well.... full review

It's rare when you get to have a totally UNIQUE theatrical experience, and that's exactly what we have here. No amount of words can describe the circus Maddie orchestrates with the help of a trunk full of dolls and her trusty margarita-thirsty producer Daniel. It's FUN and RIDICULOUS and SILLY and Maddie Mutations in the very best sense of the term.... full review

Visually stunning, tightly rehearsed, silly, creepy, delightful clowning. This production is just SO whole-ass: the soundtrack is incredible, the set design was outrageously polished, the lighting was perfect, the costumes and frickin PUPPETRY. Aye aye aye. And I mean, duh, the performances. Stunning. Comparisons to the 3 Stooges are well-made. Every clown in LA should be required to come see this show so they know where the bar is.... full review
