Brain Eviction (A Comedy)

Fast, energetic, bit-a-minute play that evokes the style of the Chicago ➡️ Brooklyn Annoyance scene (compliment, for the 99% of you who have no idea what I'm talking about). Kate stars in an all-female furious response to the injustices of the LA housing crisis with absurdity and interactive improv that is dense with goofs and references.... full review

I love Ramón and the world needs him now more than ever. Cathartic, beautiful, fun, informative, inspirational. Thank you for bringing us in and reminding us of the healing power of community!... full review

HYSTERICAL

Extremely compelling, funny, dark, occasionally scary, emotionally vulnerable piece of theater right here. Jackie is doing something exciting marrying horror with clown, and it's working. I thoroughly enjoyed this and encourage you to check it out.... full review

Mandy Keen: MAGGIE

SO many games and bits packed in there, I can't imagine how to load this show in and out lol. I don't wanna spoil anything but I think the prop that most surprised me was a functional flip phone. All this fly wants is some love! Won't you give her some!!!... full review

Tartuffe in 60 minutes

mark vigeant · June 15, 2026 certified reviewer
The lie is that this show actually ran at something like 55 minutes, which is crazy given how much content is packed in there. If you're a fan of Moliere and enjoy impressively swift entrances and exits, and dizzying back-and-forths, this may be your show!... full review

The Council of Elrond: The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring: Extended Editon: Part 4

mark vigeant · June 08, 2026 certified reviewer
WOW! This was SO FUN! Riley and Cole are hysterical, and create a sandbox for audience members to PLAY. This really stretches the form of what a "show" can look like, and it was heaven for me. Will directed it brilliantly, it builds to a delightful crescendo with exactly the right amount of chaos. ... full review

Banana Man LIVE

Ari is an inventive, delightful, quirky artist and it is so delightful to be inside their world. Under Natalie's direction, the show is really colorful and whimsical and uses the full space to transport the audience. I particularly love the innocence and lack of judgment Ari and Natalie brought to the main character. The banana was raised in a world of apples and bananas and genuinely took a long time to figure out the world around it. When banana was ready to acknowledge the existence of other f... full review

Husky Whispers: Baked Alaska

mark vigeant · June 05, 2026 certified reviewer
I've had the privelege of watching Husky Whispers evolve over the years, and this is their crowning achievement. This show is full of heart, pain, and delightful stupidity, and it comes through in the music so beautifully. I'll be vulnerable and admit I've never listened to "Nebraska" and I bet the show would be an even richer experience had I done that - but it's a testament to Cole & Riley that I came in without that context and had a fucking wonderful time. Powerful, moving, funny. Wonderful.... full review

Do Better

This show is gorgeous. Izzy has such an inviting, calm, in control energy while onstage. He's navigating some heavy subject matter, and at no point does the audience feel in danger, because Izzy is so commanding and gentle and FUNNY. Also the magic was legitimately gasp-worthy! Peyton did a fabulous job directing this – good pacing, stage picture, lighting design, everything. Bravo!... full review

The Dog Log

Richard really brought us on an emotional journey that got me! He got me!! He starts off with this kind of bitter, annoyed, beaten down energy and by the end I was tearing up and laughing those deep belly laughs that come from a satisfying adventure. Bravo to Bruno for helping cut 180+ pages into 60 minutes and getting the staging to be so simple yet so effective.... full review
