The Other Woman

Such a relatable story (I think for most women) of the conflicting pressures put on us by society, especially regarding how we display sexuality. And told in a very funny, charming way, despite the often traumatic nature of the tale. The humor drew us in to truly care when the story took a darker turn. Faith is lovely to watch on stage, and her vulnerability shines throughout in a way that makes us want to go on her journey with her. ...

I was completely delighted by this show from beginning to end. It brought me a lot of joy to give in to the increasingly fun antics of the two performers. I have never seen anything quite like it before, and I am so glad I did get to see it. Would honestly watch again. ...

This show delighted me. The writing is so incredibly funny, with no shortage of insane decisions made by various characters and situations that hit with so much matter of fact darkness that you cannot help but laugh. A major highlight for me was Pam Eberhardt as Jake, who might be one of my favorite characters I have seen in a piece, ever. Her somehow grounded portrayal of this madwoman is a real lesson in how more rewarding comedic moments can come from playing to truth. Even if that truth is ps...

I laughed. I cried (not too much though because humor punctuated the moments of sadness). Titi Lee is a warm presence onstage — leading us through a story of identity and grief that at once seems spontaneous and carefully orchestrated. This feels like a piece born of love that does not tell us to care for the people in our lives, but instead shows us how we can. But also, and I do not want to let this go without emphasis, they are so, so funny. ...

An absolutely insane experience that brought me to delirium and then sober reality. The mix of live original raps (which are largely about personal life experiences) with a backdrop of...well...the horrors of the world, perfectly encapsulated what it is like to have your brain split in two halves. The half that is terrified of the world ending, knowing it will, and the half that is focused on everyday experiences and views the self as the main character. Both halves are true and necessary. This ...

Wow, I loved this show. I could have watched Reshma work the room as the tape guy for another hour or all night. The premise is perfectly simple and elicited constant surprises, from funny to touching to funny again. It was truly so much fun to experience and I could NOT stop laughing. Will totally recommend to just about anyone....

A reckoning with parenthood, domesticity, and identity expressed through karaoke and storytelling. The karaoke kept me singing and dancing while the storytelling aspects kept it grounded in emotional truth. Lotta honesty and realness hand in hand with the silliness. I had a ton of fun! The time really flew by. ...

So, so, so funny. I enjoyed this play from beginning to end. The smart direction fully unleashed the comedic potential of an already funny and delightful script. The rotating cast of ridiculous characters (so well performed by truly every actor) made the story feel larger than life. The world of that model fitting room is a world I want to live in. I want to see it again. ...

So funny and the perfect way to begin my Fringe viewing! This highly physical show makes good use of choreographed movement and the individual personalities/vibes of each of the seven (I think seven???) ensemble members. A series of absurd abstract sequences ultimately lead us to the promise of the title, and a heartfelt conclusion about the power of friendship. The combination of all the above elements resulted in a very funny show that was delightful to watch. ...
