The leanest dang Hamlet you've ever seen! Even with all the cuts, the text and some great performances come through crystal clear, telling one of the greatest stories of all time in a Fringe-length package. Definitely a great time for fans of Bowie and those who followed him in the 70s and 80s. This show is a personal narrative- Albie essentially tells his life story through the lens of following David Bowie, and it's a fun ride through the glam rock era. My mom would have loved every minute! Albie speaks a lot about how his troupe, the Mums, performed juggling, tightrope walking, and magic- the show contains a few moments of this but is 95% Albie telling his story.
